You may be wondering what exactly airbrush makeup is so here are a few of the common questions people ask:
Question: What is Airbrushed Makeup?
Answer: Airbrush Makeup is the technique of applying makeup through an airbrush sprayer that actually mists on liquid makeup. It is the main source of makeup application used on celebrities for red carpet events and by makeup artist of high end photo shoots, because it provides the most natural looking coverage while still being able to conceal any and all skin imperfections.
Question: Why choose Airbrush Makeup over Standard Makeup?
Answer: Airbrushing Makeup gives you complete control of the amount of makeup being applied. Since you are misting on color as tiny dots you can layer the makeup until you reach your desired amount of coverage. It can even cover tattoos while still looking completely natural! You can imagine how “caked” that would look if you were using standard makeup. Standard makeup also tends to wear off and require numerous touch ups throughout the day. While the specially formulated makeup used in an airbrush sprayer is water and smear resistant, it can last up to 12 hrs without retouching! It is also Hypo-allergenic and Oil Free.
Question: Is Airbrush Makeup only used to apply foundation?
Answer: No, Airbrush makeup can be used to apply all aspects of makeup from foundation to eyeliner, blush, eyeshadow, eyebrows and lip color, it can even provide a lash tint! Actual stencils are used to guide the mist while applying makeup to certain areas such as eyebrows and lips creating a very tailored, beautiful, natural look.
